Supporting
student
artists
Devoted to the thriving community of student artists at Denver School of the Arts, the Friends Foundation is dedicated to fostering inclusivity and excellence. To that end, the the Friends Foundation manages two scholarships for DSA students: the Student Success Fund and the Schomp Summer Scholarship.
STUDENT SUCCESS FUND
Throughout each school year, families facing financial hardship can apply for the Student Success Fund (SSF). Administered by the Denver School of the Arts Friends Foundation, the SSF gives students a better chance to succeed, regardless of financial circumstances. The SSF funds AP courses, tutoring, private lessons, artistic supplies, limited local travel, and more.
Applications open each August. Apply for the Student Success Friend.
SCHOMP SUMMER SCHOLARSHIP
For summer programs and intensives, any DSA high school student can apply for the Schomp Summer Scholarship. The fund provides necessary support to students facing financial hardship as they take part in summer intensives. Participating in these programs should advance college admission and scholarship potential as students grow in their artistic skills. All financial aid from DSA Friends is intended to be supplemental, advancing as many students as we can.
Applications open in early 2027.
Scholarship applications are reviewed by committees. These committees and our application processes are updated annually to ensure equity in our commitment to supporting the diverse talents and aspirations within our DSA community.
