Peter Han is Vice President, Chief of Staff, for Colorado School of Mines, and has advocated for higher education institutions and programs for over 26 years. In his current role, Peter provides executive leadership for a broad portfolio of university functions including government relations, marketing and communications, and strategic partnerships, and provides counsel to the President on university initiatives.
Previously, Peter served MINES as Vice President for Institutional Advancement and led a capital campaign that raised $132 million.
Peter graduated from the University of Chicago with bachelor’s degree in economics, and received an MBA from the University of Colorado Executive Programs. He was active in fundraising for Polaris at Ebert Elementary School in Denver, and served on the Board of Directors for the Foothills Art Center in Golden. Peter and his wife Alenka are parents of two DSA orchestra majors.
